The Government of Uganda (GoU) has applied for fi nancing from the World Bank toward the cost of Adjumani Water Supply and Sanitation Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services to undertake an Environmental and Social Impact Assessement (ESIA), Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and develop appropriate Source Protection Plans, for the proposed water supply and sanitation infrastructure for Adjumani and Pakele town council, the nearby townships of Ciforo and Dzaipi and the refugee settlement camps and host communities in Agojo and Mungula.
