Francis Ongom and Onesmus Mukwaya were on form as they relentlessly attacked the hard fighting Makerere in both halves.

"It was a tight game that would have gone either way but we were a better-experienced side and that is what handed us victory," Ndejje tactician George Isabirye said.

In the other tightly contested game, UPDF beat Evergreen 38-35 and the latter's team manager Willy Mayanja attributed their defeat to poor goalkeeping.
