13 injured in Mpigi accident

Thirteen people have been rushed to Mulago hospital with severe injuries after being involved in a road accident. 

The accident occurred along Mityana-Mubende highway at Bujuuko in Muduma Sub County, Mpigi district on Saturday night.

It involved a commuter taxi registration number UBB 681 with several passengers from Fort portal heading to  Kampala.

Joseph Kulya, the Police Spokesperson for Katonga region said the driver of the taxi lost control and the vehicle veered into a deep ditch on the side of the road.
