Another patient succumbs to Ebola

Another Ebola patient has died at Bwera Ebola treatment Unit in Kasese district.

The deceased is a grandmother to the five-year-old boy who died on Tuesday at the same facility.

The deceased is a wife to a Congolese man who also died of the same epidemic two weeks ago in Beni in the eastern Democratic of Congo.

She had crossed to Uganda in a company of other five people who entered Uganda through the porous border.

The district health officer Dr. Yusuf Baseke says the deceased will be buried on Thursday at Rusese prisons where her grandson was also buried on Wednesday.

Her death brings to two the number of Ebola deaths registered in Uganda since the outbreak early this week.
