PROVISION OF SOLAR POWER SOLUTIONS FOR AREA LAND COMMITTEE (ALC) OFFICES
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a publicbenefi t company with worldwide operations in the fi eld of international cooperation for sustainable development within the context of bilateral cooperation between the governments of Uganda and Germany. GIZ Uganda announces an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the provision and installation of solar power systems for ALC offi ces at six (6) sub-counties in Mubende and Mityana Districts.
The project: "Improvement of Land Governance in Uganda to Increase Productivity of Small-Scale Farmers on Private Mailo-Land" (ILGU) is co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ). The project is implemented by GIZ together with the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development (MLHUD) in the Districts of Mityana and Mubende. The objective is to document land use rights of lawful or bona fi de Kibanja holders on private Mailo land.
