Soccer director goes missing

MISSING      SOCCER    ACADEMY

The director of Koyosa Soccer Academy, Syrus Zimaze, has gone missing.

The soccer academy is based in Kyebando, A Kampala suburb.

Zimaze, who played in the local league in the mid 1990s and also for the under 23 Uganda side. He was last seen around 18 February 2019.

His brother Ronnie Makato, who filed a case at Kanyanya Police post, said his brother, who is also a known political activist under the people power pressure group, left home on February 18 and they thought he had gone for one of his usual football trips upcountry.

However, he says, this time he did not come back.

Makato says his brother had reported to local authorities about suspicious people trailing him, but no action was taken.
