Four wins, four losses summarises Betway Power's ongoing campaign in the National Basketball League. But does it reflect well on their pre-season activations?

Certainly not; new signings and an expanded financial muscle (sh250m) from main sponsors Betway signaled a positive season for Power. Eight games into the regular season and they are overly average.

Currently, in the seventh position, the panic levels are slowly building with a looming danger of missing out on the playoffs. They entertain the once mighty Falcons  Friday night at the YMCA Arena

New signings Sam Agutu, Syrus Kiviri, and Libe Makala are yet to make an impact on a side that was tipped to strongly challenge defending champions City Oilers.

Meanwhile, Falcons continues to be a shadow of its former self limping in the ninth position, two wins and seven losses.

Meanwhile, in the Women's category, third-placed KCCA Leopards face sixth-placed A1 Challenge.
