Fire guts factory, property worth millions of shillings lost

A fire outbreak in Rukungiri Thursday afternoon left residents in tears after property worth millions of shillings was lost.

The fire gutted a milling factory just below Umeme station at Rwabanyambo-Rukungiri. Eyewitness says it later spread towards the welding workshops.

The Police fire brigade arrived at the scene although a great damage had already been done. The Police is still on ground to establish the cause of fire.
