132 KV TRANSMISSION LINE BETWEEN ACHWA HPP1 AND ACHWA HPP2

ARPE Ltd. has allocated funds for the connection of power between the 42 MW Achwa HPP1 and the 41 MW Achwa HPP2 facilities in Pader and Gulu Districts in Uganda. ARPE now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of approx. 4Km of 132KV Transmission Line in Burlobo village, Pader District, Uganda.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding; a procedure contained in the ARPE procurement policy, and is open to all eligible, registered bidders.

Scope of Works:

This Request for Proposal is in relation to the sourcing of a single contractor to provide full EPC services for the design, procurement, manufacturing, transport, installation, testing, commissioning and putting into operation of the new 132KV overhead transmission line.

The main tasks of the Contractor will be to establish the technical designs, procure all required materials and equipment, as well as transport and perform full installation of the single circuit overhead power line (or "OHTL") of approximately 4.0Km length for power evacuation from the point of interconnection (the gantry structure) at the HPP1 Switchyard outgoing bay, to the point of connection at the gantry structure of the feeder bay of HPP2 Switchyard, all drops with connectors from the terminal (dead end) towers to the gantries conductors included, as well as The project will be implemented as a turn-key contract.
