CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR A THREE-YEAR FRAMEWORK CONTRACT FOR DATA COLLECTION ON THE UNPAVED NATIONAL ROAD NETWORK (5 LOTS).
- The Government of the Republic of Uganda has allocated funds towards the provision of Consultancy Services for collection of traffic, condition, and road and bridge inventory data on the National Road Network.
- The Government of Uganda, represented by Uganda National Roads Authority, invites consultants to express interest in providing the services. Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualifi ed to provide the desired services. This information will include brochures, description of previous similar assignments undertaken, experience in similar conditions and availability of the appropriate skills among staff etc.
- The objective of the assignment is to assist UNRA with the collection of Traffi c, Road Condition, Inventory, Bridge and Major culverts data necessary to update the National Roads Database (NRD), which is part of the engine for our Road Asset Management System (RAMS) that supports decisionmaking for preparation of Annual Maintenance, Rehabilitation and Road investment plans.
- The services are divided into 5 Lots comprising; (i) Lot 1: Central Region, (ii) Lot 2: Northern Region, (iii) Lot 3: Southern Region, (iv) Lot 4: Eastern/North Eastern Region, and (v) Lot 5: Western Region. Each lot will be a separate assignment for that particular region. Call off orders will be included in the RFP and services expected to be completed within 6 months from the issue of instruction in a given year.
