FUFA to streamline activities following UEFA Assist Program

 

 

After meeting several stakeholders and picking valuable information from them on how to improve the Ugandan game, UEFA Head of International Relations football operations specialist Eva Pasquier, and two consultants Stewart Reagan (former CEO of the Scottish Football Association) and Ken MacLeod are expected to pass on the feedback to FUFA for implementation.

 

Interacting with the media at FUFA house on Friday, Stewart said their job is to try to provide some practical advice for the secretariat and ExCom and their team, so that they learn from best practices and also act on feedback from FUFA from stakeholders on what needs to be addressed.

 

"What we are basically doing here is collect feedback, advise on best practice and offer guidance on where changes and improvements need to be made; from this FUFA will develop an action plan to improve Ugandan football," Stewart stated.

 

The journalists noted that a lot needs to be done to improve the level of refereeing especially in the lower leagues and that FUFA need to create an honest working relationship with the media and also always release their findings from probes like from the Commission of Inquiry into Biased Match Officiating Allegations because the public needs to know the findings.

 

After their retreat with the FUFA ExCom, FUFA will be expected to scrutinize the football structures, how they operate and look at generally improving its operations in terms of governance.
