KAMPALA - Reverend Samuel Muwonge has urged Ugandans to reconcile with one another right from the family to their workplaces, promote peace and redirect their efforts to loving one another during the Easter season and the whole year.
He also asked Christians to emulate the teachings of Jesus Christ and learn to sacrifice what they have with those in need.
Muwonge was giving a sermon during the Vision Group Anglican community prayers in preparations for Easter celebrations.
He also advised media houses to continue with their daily services but include spreading the gospel to all the people they serve in the country and world at large.
"Play all the television shows, music and movies but also preach the gospel to your viewers as it will be great for all of us to enter that door some time to come than being chased way." he said.
Ronald Sebutiko, the Bukedde FM manager advised workmates to stick to the Lord, follow his words and take on his example in their lives to bear good fruits for their families and all those they associate with.
"Let us not behave like Christ on special days only but throughout our life time on earth for there are many rewards for emulating Christ. Each day we live is so special, thus, we need to constantly repent and be holy." he said.
The Anglican community enjoyed numerous performances from Namirembe Cathedral Mission department choir alongside Vision group choir all themed with Easter messages.
