This year, the catch was that individual meet records were broken as Dolphins successfully defended the contest Sunday in Kololo.

Dolphins Jordan Samula was among the standouts en route to his team's 529 points in the boys ‘category.

The 10-year-old clocked 31.61 in the 50m freestyle and 34.6 in the 50m butterfly in what were some of his best races.

11-year-old Pendo Kaumi was exceptional clocking  33.9 and 50m butterfly and 30.7 in the 50 m freestyle.

Conversely, Vine Grace Swim Club's  Zara Mbanga was a star attraction in the girls' category. She was unstoppable especially in three major races including 25m backstroke, 100m IM and 25m breaststroke.

She indeed impressed inspite of her side finishing a distant sixth and eleventh in the girls and boys categories respectively.

Meanwhile, usual suspects Silverfin Academy and Seals finished second and third in both categories.
