2018 UBTEB exam results out Thursday

Results of the 2018 Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) will be released on Thursday.

A total of 71,091 students registered for the UBITEB exams which were held from November 16 to December 15, 2018, at 580 examination centres countrywide.

The First Lady and minister of education and sports, Janet Museveni will formally release the results at 2:00 pm, UBITEB executive secretary, Onesmus Oyesigye announced in a statement.

The results are for business diploma and certificate programmes, technical national certificates. UBITEB will recognize institutions that have supported the training.

More youth are opting for vocational education and the number of females considering business and technical courses is rising sharply.

Last year, a total of 48,497 males and 22,594 females sat for the November/December technical and business examinations.
