Toha, Bbosa the toast of February

The Onduparaka captain found the back of the net twice and notched two man-of-the-match awards

Onduparaka captain Rashid Toha and Tooro United coach Wasswa Bbosa have been named the Pilsner best player and manager of the month of the February respectively.

 

The duo was rewarded for their exploits at a ceremony at held at Torino Bar and Restaurant in Lugogo, Kampala.

 

Toha edged out KCCA's Nicholas Kasozi and URA's Shafiq Kagimu to claim the award.

 

In February, Toha found the back of the net twice and notched two man-of-the-match awards.

Bbosa, on the other hand, guided Tooro through a tough stretch of matches in which his side lost only once to edge Vipers coach Michael Ouma.

 

The duo was also handed awards and cash prizes of sh1m each by Uganda Breweries officials led by the head of beer, Estella Muzito and Pilsner brand manager Edgar Kihumuro among others.

 

Uganda Premier League chief executive officer Bernard Bainamani, league manager Paul Kabaikaramu, communications Gordon Roy Mundeyi and UPL board member Guy Francis Kawuma were also present.
