Uganda Premier League (4 pm)

Express v Mbarara City

Ndejje v Vipers

Nyamityobora v Onduparaka

Vipers have a chance to pile pressure on leaders KCCA as the StarTimes Uganda Premier League hits the final bend.

The Venoms, who are currently second on the log with 45 points, three below leaders KCCA, travel to Bombo to play relegation-threatened side Ndejje University.

A win for Vipers will see them move joint top with KCCA on 48 points since the Lugogo side will not be in action today.

KCCA is due to play plucky Tooro United away in Fort Portal tomorrow. Ndejje, who have struggled to pick a win this season, are living under the immense pressure of surviving relegation.

But the University can only think about staying in the top tier if they handle their last eight games with a lot of consciousness.

The scoring crisis has been one of Ndejje's undoing in the league. Out of the 22 games played, they have scored 16 goals and conceded 36.

Being at home you would give them the benefit of doubt but their opponents Vipers have gone four consecutive games in all competitions without defeat. Express, recently beaten 2-0 by Vipers, host Mbarara City who hit them 3-1 in the first round.

Nyamityobora, who are increasingly looking beyond redemption in their relegation fight, will take on Onduparaka at Kakyeka.
