Strikes in both halves from URA captain Shafik Kagimu were enough to down KCCA as the Lugogo based side succumbed to their first home defeat of the season.
KCCA were clearly not at their best, offensively and defensively.
In the second half, the home side stepped up their game and won a penaly that was converted by defender and captain Timothy Awany.
But it was the visitors that had the last laugh when winger Joachim Ojera who had been causing problems on the flank all afternoon was fouled in the box by KCCA FC left back Mustafa Kizza prompting the referee to point to spot.
A composed Kagimu, having scored the first for his side, had no problems converting the spot kick as the ball bounced just off the post before hitting the back of the net.
Despite the defeat, KCCA remained top of the table with 45 points, three above second placed Vipers who settled for a goalless draw with Onduparaka away at Greenlight stadium, Arua.
