History favours Betway Kobs in a Nile Special Premier Rugby League match against Plascon Mongers today, but the visitors are out to dent their host's quest for a 13th league title.

The two sides clash in what is expected to be a thrilling return leg and a win for Kobs will brighten their chances of winning the title - something the Entebbe side is out to stop.

Kobs are on top of the log with 59 points, three ahead of Heathens while defending champions Stanbic Pirates are in third position on 49 points.

Though Kobs overcame their opponents 31-11 in the first leg, Monger's coach Kigongo Ssebalamu told New Vision that his side will be out to overturn the result.

"We know Kobs have the trophy in sight and will come out strong, but we are not ready to let them prevail," he warned.

"All our players are fit and ready for this game. We are going to put up our best fight," Kigongo stressed.

However, Kobs tactician Fred Mudoola, is also not ready for any upset and he promised to put up a fight and win this year's league.

"This is a very tight league. We are aware that Mongers are a big threat to us. We are not taking this game lightly," he said.

Kobs will be boosted by the return of skipper Brian Asaba who is expected to link up with lock Robert Aziku, Justin Kimono, Pius Ogena, Davis Kiwalabye, Collins Kimbowa, James Ijongat and Joseph Aredo.

Mongers will look to skipper Elijah Ssegawa, Andrew Olwenyi, Paul Ssekate and Adrian Waswa.

In the other matches of the day, Dusupay Warriors take on Mulago Rams while Shell Rimula Rhinos welcome Hima Cement Heathens in the other grudge tie.
