Tooro United v Vipers
Vipers could find themselves in a situation of jumping from the frying pan into the fire, as they visit Tooro United at Buhinga stadium, Fort Portal in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The Venoms, who saw their 34 league match unbeaten run ended in a 3-1 defeat to SC Villa on Saturday at Kitende, have a lot to worry about as they confront Tooro at one of the toughest grounds in the league.
Like Villa managed to pick a result at Kitende, even the Venoms have a chance to stop Tooro United's dominance at home.
But this is no easy task for Vipers since Tooro United have gone eight games in all competitions without defeat.
Table leaders KCCA are one of the sides that did not pass the test in Fort Portal after being eliminated from the Stanbic Uganda Cup 3-1 on spots kicks after a 1-1 draw.
Good away record
What could give Vipers confidence ahead of the tie is that Tooro has lost all the previous (last five seasons) league encounters they have hosted the Venoms.
Hence Tooro will be seeking their first win against the Venoms at home. Those days Tooro United used to go by the name Soana and a lot has changed since then, including the coaching staff and players.
Although Vipers has a better record against Tooro United away, this will be the first time the two clubs are meeting outside Kampala and Buganda regions.
The previous encounters were played at Kavumba, Nakivubo, Buikwe and Kitende.
