SC Villa didn't live up to expectations.

SC Villa continued to struggle as they suffered 1-0 loss to URA in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

With less than a week since they unveiled 13 new players, SC Villa didn't live up to expectations as they failed to breakdown a solid URA defence that lost its goalkeeper James Alitho and skipper Shafik Kagimu to injuries.

The end to end game gave fans value for money despite the result.

This was the sixth defeat for Villa who are just four places from bottom on 14 points. The victory saw URA move to the  fifth position on the table standing with 25 points.KCCA who were not in action are top with 37 points. Elsewhere, Bright Stars played to 1-1 draw with Onduparaka at Champion Stadium in Mwererwe. Nelson Senkatuka had given the home side the lead in the 16th minute before Rashid Toha levelled matters for the visitors in the 56th minute. 

The Arua side came into the weekend tie after renewing their a sponsorship deal with MTN. Meanwhile, the league resumes Monday with Express hosting Police at Wankulukuku stadium.
