Former Bukoto South MP Herbert Lwanga dies

Former Bukoto South MP Dr. Herbert Lwanga has died, a close family source said Saturday.

He is said to have succumbed to kidney failure.

Lwanga, who represented his constituency in the 7th Parliament from 2001 to 2006, has been receiving treatment from Kiruddu General Hospital in Kampala.

According to a family member, they expect to move the body to his health facility in Kanoni town.

Thereafter, Lwanga's remains are expected to be taken to Kalongo, Kalisizo in Kyotera district for burial.
