Uganda's youngsters Marvin Kiriwo and Frank Tayebwa surely offer a glimpse into the future following their impressive perfomances in the ongoing ITF East African 18 & Under Junior Circuit Kenya.

The duo is riding high on confidence after defeating their Kenyan counterparts in the boys main draw Tuesday at the Nairobi club court.

Tayebwa, a supremely talented teenager and a brother to national female star Winnie Birungio came up big against Kenya's Whycliffe Okenye in a rather one sided affair.

Meanwhile, Kiriwo upstaged another Kenyan in Kennedy Musembi (7-6,  6-1) to get his campaign off  to a flyer.

The two boys from Tena Academy are set to earn international ranking points from the ongoing tournament.

Interestingly, the boys will have to battle it on their own after their coach Charles Wanyama was forced to stay behind on the last minute because of financial hiccups despite the fact that the team was offered shs2m by tennis enthusiast Gilbert Guma.

"It's sad I could not go with them but nonetheless they have the ability to stronglymake their presence felt" Wanyama said.
