Not to disappoint her relatives, Abenakyo visited her mothers' home of origin and spent Christmas with them.

Although she has occasionally visited them, this time everyone had to care. The Quinn was in the Kingdom.

Several politicians and locals in Fort Portal were excited to share a moment with the queen.

They took pictures and posted them on Facebook praising the beauty queen.  Others jealousy posted how Abenakyo is a Mutooro.

"She is finally here in the Tourism City of Fort Portal! Miss ABENAKYO, Miss World Africa blood of our blood, our own, mwihwa waitu nazarwa Kicwamba. Tooro ekazaara. Tooro K'OKASEMERA! Welcome home beautiful, Princess of the World!" Kabarole Woman MP, Sylvia Rwabwogo posted.

However, one Kabahuma Liz Amooti did not seem amused by the buzz. "The fact remains, she is a Ugandan, all what you're saying is of no help," she said.

The Fort Portal Municipality MP Alex Ruhunda hosted the beauty Queen and praised her for fighting teenage pregnancy.

"This Christmas came with good surprises including hosting Miss World Africa Quinn Abenakyo at my home in Fort Portal. She shares Tooro blood and indeed she came to visit her Grandies together with her mum. I loved her zeal to overcome teenage pregnancies in Uganda and Africa at large," Ruhunda posted on his face book page.

"I tasked her with a duty to promote Fort Portal Tourism City. Thanks for coming to your mother City and look forward to working with her to transform our people,"

Ruhunda posted several pictures where he is posing with Abenakyo.
