'Avoid speeding'
Following the accident, deputy Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango voiced his warning to motorists against speeding.
"When you overspeed, anything can happen and you lose the control of that vehicle."
"Follow the signage. The speed limits that are on the signage along the highways are giving you guidelines on the speed at which to drive," he said.
"Don't overspeed, because instead of reaching [your destination] early, you will be the late."
We want to caution motorists to avoid over speeding and always to adhere to the speed guidelines that are put on the sign posts along the highways.
