Fr Bbuye further thanked all those who had extended love and support to the choir. He singled out the late John Kasule Ssebunnya, the choir's pioneer chairman and the late Paul Ssemakula, as some of the Christians who had given exceptional support to the choir.
Fr Bbuye made the remarks during the choir's Christmas concert at Lubaga Cathedral on Sunday. The concert was graced by many Christians, who included among others Hon Robert Ssebunnya (Presidential adviser on Buganda issues).
Ssebunnya pledged to buy a new piano for the choir. The family of the late Kasule Ssebunnya also donated sh1.8m to the choir.
