"I want to win it and bring it home that is why I'm travelling. I'm very thankful to RwandAir as they have really done a lot for me and I'm very grateful," Nakalembe said after RwandAir Country Manager Ivan Mugisha, in the company of Sales Manager Peter Maina Kamuti, presented her an $800 (sh2.9m) return ticket the ticket at their offices in Kampala yesterday.

"It is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility to give back to society and this time we are associating our brand with sports. We look forward to transforming sport in the country and also big players like Nakalembe," Mugisha said.

"We are very committed to sponsoring such initiatives and we have been involved with golf before with the Singleton and the ladies RwandAir Flags Golf tournament, so it is an addition to accompany those," Mugisha stated.

RwandAir who joined Capital FM in sponsoring Nakalembe is also involved in sponsoring a Tanzanian driver for a fundraising event in Uganda and are in line to sponsor other sports like rugby, netball and motocross in the near future.
