GRADUATION HEALTH
The graduands of Kampala School of Health Sciences have been warned against indecent dressing, sexual harassment and drunkardness if they are to serve humanity.
The warning was sounded by Bruhan Mazige, the quality assurance officer of the Allied Health Professionals Council at the third graduation ceremony in Segukku, a Kampala suburb.
"You should avoid indecent dressing as this will scare patients away from you and they become sick," Mazige told graduands, health workers, parents and students.
"Don't be seductive when talking to patients that is sexual harassment," he stated.
He said health workers who are drunkards are a nuisance and soon the health body will punish those engaged in the practice.
He also cautioned them against misusing laboratory equipment, but use them appropriately.
Mazige gave example of some health workers who use terescope for checking the patients chest and abdomen.
