What should we expect from the volleyball playoff?

With Aziz Damani back to sponsor the volleyball playoffs for the second year in a row, all the teams are focused on winning the competition.

Below is what some team coaches and players that attended the sponsorship launch at D'Mellos Indian Restaurant said about the play offs set to start on November 6.

Andrew Okapis, Nemostars coach

"This season has been a hard one, so we learned our lessons the hard way. We turned it around in the second round. We have been training hard and our focus is now on winning the title."

Patricia Nsubika, Sport-S captain

"We are very confident, actually the whole club, the women and men's teams are both in the playoffs and our other team the Tigers in Serie B could also qualify. Sport-S women will face Ndejje, a team we have faced many times. I know my ladies have trained very well and we know how to play them."

Mark Okurut, UCU Doves captain

"I am very confident that we shall win the title this year because had a good season and also because as a team we have shown such growth. We have qualified for the Africa Club Championships. After winning the National Championships and we hope to continue with that form in the playoff. We are facilitated well and the support we receive from the sports department has been good."
