The Citizen's Coalition for Electoral Democracy in Uganda (CCEDU) leaders today met the Electoral Commission officials at the electoral body's offices in Kampala.
The meeting was meant to resolve a disagreement that prompted the Electoral Commission to sever their relationship early July 2018.
CCEDU has been an observer of various electoral processes in Uganda.
However, the electoral commission accused them of being biased after statements that were attributed to some officials that were deemed to undermine the process of electing women leaders in July 2018.
According to Crispy Kaheru of CCEDU, officials from the two groups agreed on a working model, saying details will be announced by the Electoral Commission soon.
