Kyambogo University vs Bugema University

Semifinal action in the Pepsi University football league will kick off this afternoon when Kyambogo University host Bugema University for the first leg of what is likely to be the former's toughest game of the season.

Kyambogo are still unbeaten this season despite drawing more than half of their games including both legs of their quarter-final tie against defending champions Uganda Martyrs which they won on away goals rule.

In Bugema, they face one of the highest scoring teams in the competition this season and they will need to put some emphasis on defending or risk conceding an away goal.

Coach, Deo Sserwadda is aware of Bugema's strike force but won't let his side sit back and defend.

"The best form of defence is attack and for this game we are going to go all out for a win. There will be no sitting back.

Bugema have a strong team with a very sharp striking line but we are going to keep them at bay by keeping the ball in their half," Sserwadda said.

His counterpart Nyanzi Medhi, is equally optimistic about the tie and he believes he knows their weaknesses.

"We have never met but I have watched Kyambogo play. They have a very good defensive line but just like we did against IUIU, I know we shall unlock Kyambogo's defense and score," Nyanzi said.
