Police in Luweero has arrested two secondary school teachers in connection with two separate incidents of allegedly defiling underage girls from neighbouring primary schools.

The duo that was arrested over the weekend includes Elias Musoke, 44, who teaches at Katikamu SDA SS and James Kimbowa, 40, who teaches at New Life SSS. Police arrested the two teachers in presence of their students at their respective schools.

The Savannah Regional Police spokesman, Paul Kangavve on Friday said the duo currently being held at Luweero Police Station, had prior to their arrest evaded arrest.

Kangavve said Musoke is suspected to have defiled a Primary Four pupil of Devine Primary School in Luweero town council.

He said that Kimbowa on the other hand was arrested in connection with the alleged defilement of an 11-year-old pupil of Sermon On The Mountain Primary School in Luweero town.

Kangavve said Musoke and Kimbowa were charged with aggravated defilement.

According to the medical examination reports at Luweero Police Station, the minors sustained ruptured hymens and were walking with difficulty.

Kangavve said the Police had finalised investigations and that the two suspects will soon appear in court.
