XFM bash brings the streets down

Only Fresh Boy-Fik Fameica could equal the kind of mad fun and energy the Deejays brought at the first ever XFM street bash with his hit songs including mafia.

The party returned on the streets of Kampala in a hypnotic fashion during the XFM street bash with Smirnoff that was held on First Street Industrial Area on Saturday.

Only Fresh Boy-Fik Fameica could equal the kind of mad fun and energy the Deejays brought at the first ever XFM street bash with his hit songs including mafia.

To say party goers turned up for the Vision Group organised street party in big numbers would be an understatement. They came in large numbers; everyone was excited at the return of the street bash on First Street.

With a star-studded line up of Deejays and chart-topping Ugandan Musicians, this was the party to attend.

Guitarist and soul artist Kenneth Mugabi wowed the youthful audience whereas Urban TV's Dance Off winners the Trojans Dance Crew and finalists Athena Crew equally left revelers mesmerized on the night.

The Trojans pulled off their charismatic and thrilling dance moves on the versatile and never equaled DJ Shiru's set  and got revelers wildly partying but the show had only began.

There is something exciting about DJ Shiru performing alongside a Dance crew, he is a Deejay yes and one would expect him to just spin his decks and let it go, but he brings more. The ability to perform alongside a dance crew can be quite exciting.

Earlier DJ Andy had got the party started and DJ Naselow turned up the party for the crowd, revving up the mood with their set list. And by the time the ever impressive Mr. Silver Back of the Silver Back DJs took to stage the party got heated up.

DJ Kasbaby and DJ Ali breezy followed and delivered incredible performances on the decks. Everyone loved every bit of their mixes, sang along and danced.

There were performances from chart-topping musicians Irene Ntale, Lydia Jazmine, Ykee Bendah, Fik Fameica and the crowd loved it.

The stage and sound provided by silk events was flawless and enhanced the performances. Smirnoff was cheap on the night. Smirnoff was cheap and guzzled at ease.

In the end it was explosive from Vision Group's DJ Ali Breezy. He got the crowd pulling the latest dance moves and going crazy song after song. Well he had promised a massive act for the night and he delivered.

The fun-filled street bash was on until 12:30pm when the music went silent. Revelers who clearly looked to still be in a party mood reluctantly left the venue.

Clearly no one wanted the show to end. It was a great return of the street bash on First Street and in in the end it was worth every cent spent.
