Nakiwala said prior to her appointment to cabinet, she received a revelation from the Right Rev. Fr. Raymond Kalanzi, a Charismatic priest with a prayer house in Najjanankumbi in Rubaga Division, who disclosed to her that she would one day become a minister, which she hardly believed.

The minister of state for youth, Sarah Nakiwala Kiyingi has made several revelations of her miraculous success in life, attributing her achievements to several outstanding figures including the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and President Yoweri Museveni.

Nakiwala said prior to her appointment to cabinet, she received a revelation from the Rt Rev. Fr. Raymond Kalanzi, a Charismatic priest with a prayer house in Najjanankumbi in Rubaga Division, who disclosed to her that she would one day become a minister, which she hardly believed.

"I had come for prayer and blessings from Fr. Raymond but he told me that one day I was going to become a minister. I did not believe it because I did not have any of my relatives among the ranks of bush war fighters and my husband (MP John Bosco Kiyingi) is a staunch opposition leader, which I thought, could not qualify me for such a privilege," she said.

Nakiwala was Sunday speaking after commissioning of the Teresa Children's Home in Najjanankumbi, where the priest handed her the ‘Mother Teresa Humanitarian Award for Women of Excellence' in recognition of her efforts to fight for the rights of children.

The minister, who contested for the Kampala district parliamentary seat on the Democratic Party ticket, however said she got a miracle in her life when she received a call from the President who informed her about the appointment. "This was a miracle," she said.

Enumerating the numerous miracles in her life, Nakiwala said that she received another miracle soon after completing her university education when the Kabaka called and informed her of her appointment.

"I even failed to respond although I heard everything he told me-he called to congratulate me, I had been appointed the youngest minister in his cabinet," the minister said.

Nakiwala said she was mentored and loved by the Kabaka who always took her along during his travels, and survived several reshuffles, which she said made a turnaround of her life, and nurtured her into what she is today.

But before she was appointed to the Kabaka's cabinet, Nakiwala said she received a miracle, during their University farewell party, Kampala businessman Gordon Wavamunno offered her a job, a car,  house and had a good  life instantly.

Nakiwala revealed that she has been loved by the best, trusted to the highest levels and has been able to know what goes on in important circles, despite having been raised in a poverty-stricken home, the 8th out of a family of 12 members at Saza in Masaka Municipality.

At the occasion, the minister also handed over a certificate of recognition to the Vision Group for the role the group play in helping her pursue cases of child abuse in the communities.

"I always get notified about cases of child abuse from the Vision Group through phone calls, we registered 15,000 cases in the year 2016/2017 but this was a tip of the iceberg of the many cases all over the country," she said

Fr. Raymond said he started the home using funds from generous Ugandans. He explained that it was his vision to have a home for children that is not dependent on foreign funding.

He applauded the New Vision saying he had been following almost all articles published in the paper about children and used the information to establish a home.
