A peep into the new Mulago hospital

The construction of Mulago specialised Women Specialised and Neonatal hospital has been finalised and officially handed over to government by the Arab Contractors.

The facility was received by the Prime Minster, Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, after a visit by the cabinet ministers.

The 450 bed capacity hospital will decongest Mulago National Referral Hospital. It will enable women with complex reproductive health problems to be treated and also reduce referrals abroad for specialised reproductive and Neonatal treatment.

The facility has been equipped with highly specialised equipment.
