Rams rugby club boosted

KAMPALA - Rams rugby club Thursday august 2,2018 got a sponsorship boost from Kampala MRI centre ahead of the 2018/2019 rugby season.

The Nile Special Premier Rugby League Club side will, on top of the sh3.5m cash for administration costs get free medical support from the centre.

Kampala MRI centre is a professional medical centre that offers high quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging services.

Kampala MRI centre chief operations officer, Francis Agoro said that partnering with Rams is because the club focus much on the Community health services which in line with their objectives.

"It is highly rewarding to partner with a team which also has a mind for community involvement, growing and nurturing sports talents," Agoro said.

"It is a small incentive for the team to move greater heights and we committed to continued support," Agaro added.

Rams is a rugby club comprising of medical professionals from Makerere and Mulago promoting community based health.

The three time Uganda Cup Shield winners team captain Jude Rwankayanga said that the sponsorship is abig boost to his team.

"We are much delighted to receive this partnership and we hope this is a huge motivation to us ahead of next season," Rwankayanga.
