MUKONO - Bukedi province player, Ronald Musana is positive his side has what it takes to eliminate Buganda in the return leg semifinal of the FUFA Drum Competition.
"We came as underdogs and we are going back on the drawing board to rectify our mistakes.
"We hope we shall be a different side in return leg at home. And we have tried to deliver whenever we are playing at home,"stated Musana after Bukedi went down 1-0 in the first leg against Buganda.
Despite the defeat, Musana won the man of the match accolade after putting up a good display. He also walked away with a cash prize of sh100,000.
The highly anticipated clash was also attended by the Princess of Buganda kingdom, Katrina Ssangalyambogo who was the guest of honor.
Midfielder Allan Kayiwa's goal in the 61 minute separated both sides. Kayiwa headed home after Yasser Mugerwa's assist.
Meanwhile, at Green Light stadium in Arua, West Nile settled to goalless draw with Busoga.
Busoga's Shafik Batambuze's brilliancy handled him the man of match performance.
It was his fourth time to be named man of the match in the competition. The four teams will meet again in a return leg on August 19.
