Reigning National Basketball League Champions, City Oilers moved within two points of log leaders Betway Power following a 65-57 victory over Our Savior at YMCA on Monday.

The game that was initially scheduled for Sunday was eventually played on Monday evening due to a power blackout at the MTN Arena.

The rescheduling seemed to have taken its toll on the Oilers when they went down 19-14 in the first quarter before coming back 6-20 and 13-20 in the second and third quarters to bridge a 16 point gap.

Our Savior took the last quarter 19-11 in their bid to make a comeback, but in vain.

While Oiler's Landry Ndikumana scored 12 points, his cohort James Okello, Jimmy Enabu and Ivan Muhwezi scored 11 points each.

Meanwhile, today's piece of league action will the inform Ndejje Angels tackling JKL Dolphins in a bid to revive their giant killing prowess.

The Angels have recorded four wins from five games and ironically last suffered a defeat in their last fixture of the first round against their opponents of the day, JKL.

Walter Obedi's Angels will be seeking revenge, having started their season's revitalization with two successive victories against Betway Power and KIU Titans before falling 46-68 to the Dolphins.

Now, the game will be expected to capture the minds of spectators as the two sides meet again with Ndejje in a similar position following two consecutive wins over UPDF and Charging Rhino.
