JINJA - The Guinness National Rugby 7s Series continues on Saturday July 21, 2018 with the Coronation circuit which is the fifth round of the championship at Legends Rugby Club, Kampala.

Rugby clubs will be out to collect maximum points that will enable them position themselves in better positions in their quest for the national title.

The Black Pirates who lead the series with 78 points, seven ahead of defending champions Betway Kobs (71pts) have promised a strong return targeting a win.

Coach Bobby Musinguzi said that in the previous circuit in Mbarara his team was affected by injuries and absence of some players who were on national duty with the National University team in Namibia but this time they look foward to returning to their winning form.

"We coming up strong this time targeting to get back to our winning form. We expect to some players back on the team and hope for better results," the tactician said.

Pirates won the first two circuits at Kyadondo and Jinja respectively, before losing in the final the third circuit to the Rugby Cranes 7s academy team and then lost the fourth circuit in Mbarara to Rams 5-0 in the semi-final in an event won by Kobs.

However, Pirates have abig task ahead of them as other clubs including Jinja Hippos, Hima Cement Heathens, Plascon Mongers, Toyota Buffaloes, Warriors and hosts, Shell Rimula Rhinos are all targeting a win.

After tomorrow, three circuits including the Pirates Rujumba Memorial, Kobs Kitaka Memorial and the Flood Light 7s that will climax the series at Kyadondo Rugby Club.
