Busoga Province were on top of their game as they reached the semi-finals of FUFA Drum Competition. Busoga defeated Ankole Province 3-0 in the return leg of the quarter-finals over the weekend at Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe to make it to the last four .

BUL FC's strikers Richard Wandyaka and Dan Shabena fired home three goals as Busoga province put up a convincing performance over visiting Ankole province.

Elsewhere, Ezra Bida scored the only goal as West Nile beat  Bugisu 1-0 at the Green Light Stadium, Arua. West Nile progressed to the semi-final on a 2-0 aggregate. Bugisu's James Alitho still leads the scoring charts with eight goals.

At Pece stadium in Gulu, Bukedi eliminated home side Acholi 6-5 on penalties after 1-1 draw.

In the other game, Buganda Province joined Bukedi, Busoga and West Nile in the last four after eliminating Kampala 2-1 on aggregate.  Buganda will play West Nile in the semi-finals, while Busoga will face Bukedi the oher encounter.
