Kutchi Tigers are finally living to their billing. Brutal and free scoring, this is what was expected of them right before this year's campaign started.

Despite picking up way after the initial phase of the league, they are nonetheless back in title contention especially after cruising past Tornado Bee by 128 runs Sunday at Lugogo oval.

It was their fourth win out of seven and it propelled them to the second position (25 points) on the log behind leaders Aziz Damani (36 points).

Succeeding at playing catch up against the leaders will no doubt require just about everything for Kutchi Tigers as the defending champions remain the only unbeaten side in the top tier.

Conversely, Hitendrasingh Jadeja's century of 102 from 88 balls was clearly out of this world when the Tigers reached 308. Such winning characters are a must have to win a competition of this dimension.

Dinesh Nakrani (47 from 41) and Ronak Patel (40 from 41) were outstanding in another classic innings from Kutchi Tigers despite Akbar Baig's 4 wicket haul.

Roger Mukasa's half century of 64 from 46 balls was not enough to lift the mighty Tornado Bee.

In division two at Entebbe oval, Budo lost by 1 wicket against Patidar in what was a close game. Arun Panchal claimed an overwhelming 7 wickets as Avengers defeated Nile at Budo.
