KAMPALA - Azizi Damani Katooke FC CEO Benjamin Musoke believes that the belief from the players was the reason behind their promotion to the FUFA Division One .
"The commitment and belief from our players was the engine behind our success. Our culture is to promote talent.We are building a big brand in Ugandan football and we hope in the furure this will come out strong,"stated Musoke .

Azizi who have so far two teams in the Division One are optimstict that at least one of them will make it to the FUFA Big League and later to the topflight.
More than the glory
Yet for Damani, there is more to it than just qualification. Club owner Aziz Damani, who also runs three cricket clubs, aims for more than just sporting success.
"For us, what matters is not just qualifying to regional football," Musoke revealed. "Even if we don't qualify we are still happy for supporting youngsters to play the game and managing to build a well-run football club."
For the Aziz Damani Sports NGO, which has also invested in sports like volleyball and badminton, the real vision is about impacting lives through sports. Still, a winners' medal would not hurt, would it?
