Ugandan footballers Isaac Isinde (pictured), Shafiq Bakaki and Faisal Nsubuga have departed to have trials in Malaysia, southeast Asia.

The three are due to have trial spells with Malaysian topflight side Universiti Kebongsaan Malaysia FC (UKM).

This will be the third trial stint for Isinde since he was he released with compatriot Boban Zirintusa by Zambia's Buildcon FC early last year.

He has previously had trials with newly promoted topflight side Highland Park in South Africa and Al Hilal of Sudan, but both opportunities did not bear much.

Isinde's lack of enough playing time has seen him not summoned for recent national side engagements with the Cranes.

Meanwhile, Bakaki's contract at Vipers ran out and it appears the reigning league champions are not willing to renew it.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Football Club is based in Bangi, Selangor.

They are currently sixth in the topflight league on 18 points from 15 games.

Felda United top the league on 36 points from as many games as Universiti Kebangsaan.
