I've failed to handle Shaban - Mutebi

This comes at time when the striker is being linked to different clubs in Egypt

Striker Muhammad Shaban might be on his way out of KCCA.

Shaban who was left out in the Uganda Cup final where KCCA beat Vipers 1-0, has fallen out with his coach Mike Mutebi.

"This is an erratic player who I have failed to handle. When he had just joined the club I had the responsibility to tame him but it seems it has failed to work out," stated Mutebi.

"Can you imagine that ever since Shaban returned from the Uganda Cranes camp, he has not been training? He has been coming to Lugogo and remains in his car. I will not waste  my resources on him. I will stick to those players who really know why they are at KCCA," he added.

Mutebi did not reveal why Shaban has not been training with the team but reports indicate that the clash between Mutebi and Shaban started before former Onduparaka skipper travelled with national team recently in the just concluded training camp in Niger.

This comes at time when Shaban is being linked to different clubs in Egypt.

Mutebi also insists that Shaban has to face the club's disciplinary measures if he is to be pardoned.

The fallout follows Derrick Nsibambi's exist from KCCA to join Egyptian side Smouha.

This leaves Shaban and Patrick Kaddu as the only strikers at the Lugogo club.
