Museveni to Abiriga's killers: You will pay blood with blood

 

KAKUMIRO - Addressing people during the Heroes' Day celebrations on Saturday at Birembo, Kakumiro district, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni warned Ibrahim Abiriga's killers.

 

The Arua Municipality Member of Parliament was shot dead together with his bodyguard in cold blood on Friday evening. 

 

The President said those who kill innocent people shall pay back with their won blood. He also requested Ugandans to install tracking devices in their vehicles and motorcycles, so that security agencies can follow up in case of eventualities.

 

"People who kill innocent people will pay with blood," Museveni said.

 

Museveni added that the assassins of Ibrahim Abiriga are bad people and that Government will arrest them like it did to the Allied Democratic Forces. 

 

The President challenged Ugandans to improve on their household incomes.

 

Abiriga was attacked at around 6:40pm by two men allegedly on a motorcycle according to eyewitnesses.
