Uganda Cup final: FRSC appoints referees ahead of the finals

BUKEDEA - FUFA Referees Standing Committee (FRSC) has appointed matches officials for the Stanbic Uganda Cup final between Vipers and KCCA.
 
The two sides faceoff this Saturday at at Emokori ground, Bukedea district.
 
Brian Miiro Nsubuga will be the center referee and will be assisted by Musa Balikoowa and Okello Lee as the first and second assistants. The three will be joined by Mashood Ssali as the fourth official of the game.
 
Amin Bossa will be the referees assessor while FUFA Referees Standing Committee chairman Ronnie Kalema is the match commissioner.
 
This will be the third time Vipers and KCCA faceoff this season. KCCA defeated Vipers 3-1 in the first round of the league before going down 3-2 in the second round.
 
Vipers eliminated SC Villa 1-0 aggregate to reach the final while KCCA humbled regional side Synergy10-0 on aggregate to qualify for their second consecutive final.
 
The battle for silverware in this year's Uganda Cup followed Stanbic Bank‘s sh300m sponsorship.
 
The prize money for the competition was raised to sh90m. The winner will walk away with sh30m, runners up sh20m, semifinalists sh10m each while the quarterfinalists will each receive sh5m.
