Patrick Kaddu scored the only goal as KCCA edged Synergy 1-0 in the first leg of the second semi-final of the Uganda Cup on Monday in Masaka.

Kaddu struck after 22 minutes off Eric Senjobe's assist to give KCCA the advantage ahead of Thursday's return leg at Lugogo.

In the first semifinal between SC Villa and Vipers played on Sunday, was marred with fan violence and ended in goalless draw.  The two sides will face off in the return leg on June 5 at Kitende.

This year's final will be hosted in Kumi Municipality on June 9 even though FUFA is yet to communicate the final venue after inspecting Boma playground, Kumi Technical School and Bishop Maraka College fields.
