Kiryandogo accident: Some of the dead identified

ACCIDENT
LIRA - On Friday evening over 22 people were confrimed dead after the Gaaga bus from Lira was involved in a fatal accident.
The bus rammed into a moving tractor that had neither lights nor reflectors. The bus lost control, rolled and collided with an oncoming truck, loaded with crates of beer.
According to the regional Police Spokesperson for Albertine region, Allan Julius Hakiza who visited the scene of the accident together with the Regional Traffic officer Irene Chelengat and Regional Police Commander Deo Obura, it is the tractor that caused the accident.

Hakiza said 19 people died on the spot, while three others including a juvenile died from Kiryandongo hospital.
