Ivan Nedelko lived to expectationS after defeating Spaniard Perez Sanz 6-0 6-3 to win the singles category in F3 Futures on Saturday at Lugogo Tennis Comples.

This was the second Futures title for the Russian who also lost the F2 Futures title.

The 31-year-old has a career high ATP singles ranking of 261 achieved on June 6, 2016. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 674 achieved on June 16 2014.

The four weeks ITF Uganda Pro Circuit is the first biggest tennis event hosted in the country. It commenced on April 28 and will end on May 28.

The event is sponsored by Vision Group, International Tennis Federation (ITF), Grand Slam development fund, National Council of Sports, Uganda Tourism Board, KCCA, Stanbic Bank, Shax Extra, Jibu Water, Tusker Tusker lite, National Informational Technology Authority, Uganda Olympic Committee and Betway.
