Kampala International School of Uganda's (KISU) Noah Mugisha scooped the Most Valuable Player accolade after he inspired his side to the inaugural edition of the 7Hill Lacrosse championship title, played at the MTN Arena on Saturday.
Speed and agility were Mugisha's strongest attributes on his way to scoring three goals as KISU beat KICPS 3-0 and in the 1-0 win against 7Hills, in the one-day championship that attracted players from four international schools.
Mugisha scored twice in the 3-0 win over KICPS with Aidan Healy scoring the other before he scored a sudden death winner in the finals against 7Hills International School, beating Robin Kohler in the one-on-one sudden death play-off after a 0-0 score.

7Hills had seen off Kabojja in the other match with all goals coming from Robin Kohler who emerged as the best midfielder.
The winners received their trophy from the Honorary Consul of Switzerland Romina Wilke Kohler who was impressed by the enthusiasm shown by the youngsters in this unique sport that is only taking root in the country.
Julius Kazungu a former U-17 Switzerland coach and trainer of the sport and the brain behind the championship said the idea was to have the tournament played every holiday as the sport spreads to even other schools around the country.
