Kenya U-21 team coach Peter Mwathi believes Uganda and Rwanda are his team's biggest threat in the ongoing Zone V Africa handball Youth tournament at the Lugogo sports grounds.
Mwathi unleashed his worries after Uganda defeated Somalia 37-16 on Tuesday.
"We defeated Tanzania and we play on today, but we are looking at wining this tournament.
"All we have to do is find a way to humble Uganda and Rwanda and we shall be good to go. Othewrwise, I still have hope in my team," Mwathi said.
However, while Mwathi's side lay their strategies, the local team is also hungry for a a trophy, as Uganda's coach, Jimmy Orotin targets victory at the end of the week long ccontest.
"Winning a 37-16 is a true reflection that we corrected our mistakes that got us to lose 30-29 to Rwanda.
"This alone has motivated us to work hard to see ourselves grab the trophy by the close of the casmpaigns," said Orotin.
Jonathan Atandu scored nine goals, while Michael Okello and Brian Sseruhongi managed eight and five goals respectively to defeat Somalia.
Abdirisak Alasow and Ali Aden managed five and four goals respectively for Somalia but it was not enough to save their side from a loss.
